Independent Medical Exam

An Independent Medical Exam (IME) is an opportunity to get insurance professionals, employers, attorneys and physicians on the same page. Independent medical exams frequently assist in resolving the claim in a timely and efficient manner. The IME evaluation of an injured party that utilizes a third party, board certified independent medical professional to issue an unbiased opinion on the injury. The doctor may be questioned if there is confusion regarding the report or conflicts between multiple IME reports.
