Laura lives in Atlanta with her husband, a civil engineer, and
their two children.  She is active in her church and neighborhood
community. During law school, Laura interned for a 4th Circuit Appellate Judge who was recently elected the President of the American Judges Association.
At Emory Law, Laura also interned as a case analyst for a prestigious
multi-state class action litigation firm.  Prior to law school, Laura
worked at her mother’s personal injury law firm in Louisiana and taught
ACT/SAT/LSAT prep courses for The Princeton Review and Kaplan at LSU and
at Harvard University.   She also worked on a presidential campaign at
the Massachusetts General Headquarters.  She is in tune with work injury
in Georgia and throughout the country as she is on the Board of
Directors of WILG, the national workers’ compensation organization
